New businesses in Cherokee County
Today’s Gotta Give: It’s most disgusting how AIG was bailed out by the American taxpayer. More disgusting how they turned around and paid million dollar bonuses to executives for doing a crap job. But what’s most disgusting is how they get away with it, and how the Feds would turn around and do it again. It’s a crazy world.
That said, let’s talk about things happening right here at home, good things! Today Inspired 2 Design was able to attend two events: the first – a ribbon cutting for a new printing broker company here in the county called WW Printing. Wendy and Luther moved to Waleska recently, and Wendy, a third generation printer, has started a business to bring affordable printing to business owners here. Her ribbon cutting was well attended, and we wish her tons of success. Hopefully, her company can add even more great options to Inspired 2 Design clients when it comes to specialty pieces and we can bring even better prices to the businesses that trust us for a complete solution.
Second, and so very exciting for shoppers in Cherokee county, Fun Finds and Designs – A Consigment Marketplace, opened its doors tonight with a preview reception. And wow! What a fantastic job Terry and Betty Anderson have done with the store. You’ll find furniture, accessories, wall decor, accent pieces, and just lots of ecclectic and traditional home decorating ideas. Betty is a long time interior designer with an incredible eye and a warm, welcoming personality. Her charm was evident as everyone at the event just raved about what wonderful folks both she and Terry are and what great friendships they have formed. The shop is on Marietta Hwy in Canton – right behind the Dairy Queen. The shop will be having a grand opening on April 2, but will be having a soft opening even sooner. Call 770-704-0448 for hours and days.
We’ve said it and will say it again… we refuse to accept a recession as an excuse. Business is there, and people have money to spend. What’s happening in the economy is not a new phenomena. It’s just a phase that will successfully weed out the duds from the successes (if the government lets that happen). It’s like natural selection. We refuse to accept or acknowledge any affect on our business, or our clients’ businesses. Inspired 2 Design
