Upcoming Networking Events

Here are some networking and other events coming up in the next couple of weeks around town:

Southeast Cherokee Business Network (SECBN)
Meets at 8:30 am every Wednesday at Shanes Rib Shack in the Hickory Flat area of Canton, corner of East Cherokee and 140. A networking group of approximately 45 local businesses sharing referrals, support and business information. Limited to one business per industry.

Cherokee Chamber of Commerce – Good Morning Cherokee Breakfast
Takes place at 7am on the first Thursday of the month (June 5th) at the Family Moose Lodge in Canton, off Marietta Hwy. A great way to meet new contacts, eat really fattening food, and enjoy the program.

Toastmasters
Perfect for developing or polishing public speaking skills. There are many groups/clubs around North Georgia. Ours meets on the second and fourth Thursday at 6:45pm in Cumming at the Forsyth library.

Historic Downtown Canton Association
A group of business owners in downtown Canton, Georgia have recently joined together to help drive new businesses to the downtown area – especially restaurants and retail shops. The goal is to make the downtown a vibrant business district for families to come and enjoy a show, a meal, and shopping in the evenings and on weekends. The group meets every month on the second Wednesday, at 7:30am. Location changes monthly as the businesses host the meeting. Membership is not limited to downtown Canton businesses.
